Possible Link Between Sual, Pangasinan Mayor and Alice Guo’s Escape Unveiled – Sen. Hontiveros

The possible connection of Sual, Pangasinan Mayor Dong Calugay to the escape of Alice Guo from the Philippines is becoming clearer.

According to Senator Risa Hontiveros, Chair of the Senate Subcommittee on Justice, new information has surfaced regarding the mayor’s potential involvement in the group’s escape, based on discussions held during an executive session in the latest subcommittee hearing.

It was recalled that on Thursday, September 5, the subpanel convened an executive session to hear sensitive testimonies and information.

Although Hontiveros mentioned limited details, she identified the Sual mayor as someone who may have knowledge of the controversial escape.

The senator expressed hope that the mayor would be available when summoned. Hontiveros also appealed to the mayor not to leave the country unexpectedly.

Earlier, Hontiveros had asked Shiela Guo if she knew of any relationship between Alice and Mayor Calugay, to which Shiela responded that, to her knowledge, the two were friends.
