Police Investigate Brutal Murder of College Sacristan

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The family of Lady Grace Galo, a sacristan and college student, is calling for swift justice after her brutal killing inside her home in Zone 4, Sitio Dinogon, Barangay Sta. Ana, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, her father, Rodrigo Galo Jr., urged the police to expedite their investigation, expressing the family’s grief and disbelief that such a crime could occur in their community.

Lady Grace, a second-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration student and a sacristan at Sta. Ana Parish, was found lifeless in her room last week, suffering multiple stab wounds.

The gruesome discovery was made by her 9-year-old nephew, leaving the family and the local community in shock.

Rodrigo Galo emphasized their plea for the perpetrators to be apprehended before they leave the area for other commitments.

According to police investigations, three persons of interest are under scrutiny as authorities work to gather more information and identify those responsible.
