Following the explosive statements made by Police Lt. Col. Jovie Espenido during the third series of House Committee Hearings against the PNP organization, PNP Public Information Office Chief Police Col. Jean Fajardo has challenged Espenido to present solid evidence to support his claims.

In the hearing, Espenido asserted that the National Police is the largest criminal and organized syndicate in the country.

Col. Jean Fajardo, however, expressed that they are unsure of the source and basis of the controversial officer’s allegations.

Fajardo emphasized that Espenido must substantiate his claims, as he is referring to the entire organization, not just a single PNP official.

Despite the controversy, the PNP assured that they are ready to assist Espenido in filing cases against corrupt police officers if he can present strong evidence.

Espenido’s allegations is a significant challenge for the PNP to improve the performance of their duties and mandate.
