PHLPost Releases Special Commemorative Stamp Honoring Pope Francis

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has released a special commemorative stamp to honor Pope Francis for his unwavering faith, compassion, and global service.

PHLPost Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer Luis Carlos stated that the initiative is a humble tribute to a world religious figure who has influenced millions, including Filipinos.

The stamp is presented in a se-tenant format, featuring connected pairs of designs that highlight both religious devotion and global humanitarian efforts.

One aspect of the design showcases Pope Francis’ spiritual humility, while the other emphasizes his advocacy for peace, social justice, and environmental care.

A total of 20,000 copies of the commemorative stamp have been printed and are set for release as part of the celebration.
