P23-Million Worth of Marijuana Bricks Seized in Tabuk City, Three Arrested

TABUK CITY, KALINGA—Authorities confiscated more than P23 million worth of dried marijuana bricks in a drug interdiction operation on September 27, 2024.

The operation, conducted in Tabuk City, Kalinga, led to the arrest of three individuals involved in drug trafficking.

A total of 192 marijuana bricks were seized from the suspects, who were immediately brought to the Tabuk City Police Station for proper documentation and processing.

PLtCol. Jolly Ngaya-an, the officer in charge, emphasized that the success of the operation reflects the commitment and hard work of the local police force.

He also expressed gratitude to the community for their active support in ensuring the operation’s success.

Ngaya-an reiterated that their intensified campaign against illegal drugs and other forms of criminality will continue, as part of efforts to maintain peace and public safety.
