Between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM alone, 60,772 outbound and 54,283 inbound passengers were recorded at all seaports nationwide.

To manage the surge of travelers, 4,873 personnel were deployed across 16 PCG Districts to conduct inspections on 509 vessels and 2,299 motorboats.

The PCG raised its alert level to “heightened alert” across all districts, stations, and sub-stations from April 13 to April 20, 2025.

This heightened alert aims to address the influx of passengers traveling for the Semana Santa observance.
