One Dead as Two Motorcycles Collide Head-On in Solsona, Ilocos Norte

A Solsona motorcycle accident resulted in the death of a 55-year-old rider after a head-on collision along Josefa Llanes Escoda National Highway in Barangay Juan, Solsona, Ilocos Norte.

The victim was riding a Euro 125 motorcycle and was accompanied by a 17-year-old student, both residents of Barangay Manalpac, Solsona.

The other motorcycle involved, an Isuzu Rider 150, was driven by a student from Barangay Maananteng, Solsona.

According to the Solsona Municipal Police Station, the Euro 125 rider was heading east when he mistakenly veered into the lane of the oncoming Isuzu Rider 150, causing the collision.

The impact left the 55-year-old rider dead on the spot, while his 17-year-old passenger and the other rider sustained injuries.

The injured individuals were rushed to Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Batac City for medical treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident and remind motorists to exercise caution on the road.
