Northern Mindanao Drug Raids Lead to 54 Arrests, P1.1M Worth of Drugs Seized

Cagayan de Oro City ā€“ A series of 47 anti-drug operations across Northern Mindanao led to the arrest of 54 suspected drug pushers and users, with authorities seizing illegal drugs valued at an estimated P1.1 million.

The confiscated substances include suspected shabu and marijuana, according to the Police Regional Office (PRO) 10.

The arrests were part of PRO 10’s intensified anti-criminality campaign, which, over the course of one week, apprehended a total of 114 individuals.

PRO 10 spokesperson Maj. Joann Navarro reported that four suspects involved in illegal gambling activities were also arrested during the operations.

Additionally, 50 other individuals, including five who were considered most wanted persons, were apprehended. PRO 10 also confiscated seven firearms and arrested three people as part of its “Kontra-Boga” campaign.
