Man Stabs Three Over Jealousy in Laoag City; One Dead

Man stabs three over jealousy in Laoag City, leaving one dead and two injured in a brutal attack in Barangay Barit, Laoag City, on Wednesday afternoon.

The 30-year-old male victim was sitting in the living room when the 45-year-old suspect barged in and repeatedly stabbed him.

The suspect then entered a bedroom where he attacked a 35-year-old woman and her 20-year-old son.

Barangay officials and responding police officers quickly arrested the suspect.

The victims were rushed to the hospital, but the male victim was declared dead on arrival.

Authorities recovered two plastic sachets of suspected shabu and two bullets from the suspect’s motorcycle.

Investigations revealed that the suspect and the woman were former lovers.

According to Laoag City Police, the suspect believed that the male victim was the woman’s new partner after their breakup weeks ago.

The suspect is now facing charges of murder, frustrated murder, and violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
