Man Found Dead in Coconut Plantation in Alabat, Quezon

NAGA CITY – The lifeless body of a man was found in a coconut plantation in Barangay Bacong, Alabat, Quezon.

The victim, identified only as “Ronnie,” 59 years old, a person with a disability (PWD), and a resident of Barangay Villa Victoria in the same province, was discovered dead on the property of Alex Sollestre.

According to initial reports from the Quezon Police Provincial Office, Ronnie was last seen leaving his home on the morning of September 17, 2024, and had not returned since.

His father, known as “Edim,” reported that Ronnie had a history of depression and a mental disorder, often leaving home without notice and wandering into nearby villages.

Authorities have stated that no signs of foul play were found on the victim’s body, ruling out any immediate suspicion of criminal involvement in his death. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
