As a result, the vehicle veered into the opposite lane, causing the victim to hit his head on farm machinery loaded on the elf truck, driven by a man identified only as “Mike,” 32, from Brgy. San Francisco, Baggao.

The victim sustained severe head injuries and was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

It was reported that the elf truck was headed to Baggao, while the kolong-kolong driver was on his way to deliver supplies for his newly opened pansiteria business.
