Man Arrested for Raping Girlfriend’s Minor Friend in Nueva Vizcaya

A young man has been apprehended in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya for allegedly raping his girlfriend’s 16-year-old friend.

According to PMaj. Oscar Abrogena, the chief of the Bagabag Police Station, the victim attended a gathering where she and the suspect, along with his girlfriend, were drinking.

The victim, feeling dizzy, excused herself to go to the bathroom but was followed by the suspect. The alleged rape occurred in the kitchen of the house where they were drinking.

The suspect reportedly threatened the victim to keep quiet, and due to fear, she was unable to resist.

Upon returning home, the victim immediately confided in her aunt, who then assisted her in filing a complaint with the police.

Law enforcement officials promptly went to the suspect’s residence, where he voluntarily surrendered.

Police are urging parents to closely monitor their daughters and to be cautious about allowing them to attend gatherings with unfamiliar people to prevent them from falling victim to similar crimes.
