Harry Roque fake news peddler label was revived by Malacañang as it renewed its call for the former presidential spokesperson to return to the Philippines from The Hague, Netherlands.

During a Palace press briefing, Press Officer USec. Claire Castro said Roque appears to be “crying for help” just to support his baseless accusations against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Castro’s statement came after Roque made fresh allegations that the President is allegedly using illegal drugs.

Roque challenged presidential sister and Senator Imee Marcos to prove that President Marcos was “bangag.”

The Palace official further stated that based on Roque’s recent pronouncements, he can already be considered a fake news peddler.

Castro also pointed to Roque as the person behind the viral “polvoron video” involving the President.

This claim was allegedly backed by vlogger Pebbles Cunanan during a Tricommittee hearing in Congress.
