The Low Pressure Area (LPA 10h) currently located within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has a low probability of developing into a full-fledged storm within the next 24 hours, according to the state weather bureau.

As of reporting time, the LPA was spotted 260 kilometers east-southeast of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

PAGASA stated that while the system is being closely monitored for possible intensification in the coming days, it is currently expected to bring rainfall to parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The LPA remains embedded within the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), which is contributing to rain showers that may lead to flash floods in nine regions.

The affected regions include MIMAROPA (Region 4B), Western Visayas (Region 6), Central Visayas (Region 7), Eastern Visayas (Region 8), Zamboanga Peninsula (Region 9), Northern Mindanao (Region 10), Davao Region (Region 11), SOCCSKSARGEN (Region 12), and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Residents in these areas are advised to stay alert for weather updates and possible flood advisories.
