Lawmakers questioned the properties of retired PCSO General Garma in Cebu

The suspected stolen properties of former Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Royina Garma in the province of Cebu were addressed during the House Quad Committee’s seventh hearing yesterday.

It was unveiled by Sta. Rosa Representative Dan Fernandez stated that the issue had been interpolated.

Fernandez claims that Garma can donate significant amounts to a party-list group.

The Quad Committee identified the former official’s hilltop mansion in Cebu City.

Garma acknowledged building such a home with her own money.

The lawmakers also received the ₱2 million donated by the PCSO to the STL Foundation.

Her cousin was the second nominee, while the wife of a police officer close to Garma was the first nominee.

Apart from that, Garma reportedly possesses P23 million in bank account and a Public Safety Savings and Loan Association.

Garma’s identity was originally linked to the killings of three Chinese prisoners in Davao in 2016 and a PCSO official in 2020.
