Sta. Rosa, Laguna Representative Dan Fernandez has called on the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) to investigate the P5 billion contract between the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and private service provider Unisys.

Fernandez raised concerns that the personal profiles of Filipinos going through the service provider may be at risk.

He urged Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra to review the contract between PSA and Unisys.

Fernandez also pointed out that Unisys Corporation has faced legal issues, as reported by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

However, Fernandez did not provide specific details about the nature of Unisys’ case.
