KOJC Expresses Dismay Over Alleged PNP Digging at Their Compound

The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) legal counsel, Atty. Israelito Torreon, has expressed dismay over the ongoing digging operations being conducted by the Philippine National Police (PNP) within their compound.

Torreon has appealed to PNP Chief Pol. Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil to grant them access to the Jose Maria College (JMC) basement.

These actions come after eleven days of unsuccessful searches by the police for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and a supposed bunker located within the KOJC compound. According to Torreon, the police have already dug eight meters deep into the JMC basement.

Torreon maintains that the police actions are illegal, as any search conducted on private property must be authorized by a valid search warrant issued by a court.

In this case, he argues that after eleven days without any arrests, the PNP is conducting an intrusive search of properties that are not registered under the accused’s name.

The KOJC lawyer emphasized that the hole allegedly dug by the police in the JMC basement poses a significant threat to the stability of the building.
