The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) has announced a P20 million reward for information leading to the identity of the donor who contributed P10 million to the government as a bounty for the fugitive Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
According to Atty. Israelito Torreon, Quiboloy’s lawyer, the KOJC seeks to uncover the source of the P10 million donation given to Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos.
Torreon added that the acceptance of such funds from private individuals is allegedly illegal under Republic Act 6713, Section 70, which clearly prohibits public officials from accepting money from private sources.
The KOJC is also eager to identify those responsible for allegedly assembling an assassination team with the intent to kill Quiboloy.
The reward money comes from various KOJC members worldwide.
It should be noted that on July 8, the DILG announced a P10 million reward for information on Quiboloy’s whereabouts, with an additional P1 million offered for information on his co-accused.
