Filipino-American vocal champion Jessica Sanchez teams up with Asia’s Phoenix Morissette for “Stronger Than Before,” a new anthem about resilience, faith, and personal growth. The single is written by Jessica Sanchez and Rodney Jason, and distributed by Universal Records.

“Stronger Than Before” tells the story of overcoming struggles and emerging stronger through life’s challenges. Jessica, who spent years joining singing competitions before eventually winning America’s Got Talent in 2025, shares that the song draws inspiration from both her personal experiences and singing journey.

“‘Stronger Than Before’ is such a special song to me because it really reflects so much of my personal journey—both in my career and in my life,” Jessica shares. “This song is about resilience, growth, and finding strength through those difficult moments. I wanted it to be an anthem for anyone who has ever felt knocked down but chose to rise again.”

The collaboration marks a dream come true for many fans. The track was recorded in Texas, with Morissette flying from the Philippines to work alongside Jessica in her home studio.

Jessica also expressed her admiration for Morissette and their musical chemistry throughout the project. “I’ve admired Morissette for so long—not just because of her powerhouse vocals, but because of the passion, emotion, and strength she brings to everything she does. Collaborating with her has been a dream, and I’m so grateful we got to create this together.” She adds, “One of my favorite parts was hearing how beautifully our voices blended. It felt so natural and powerful. There were definitely moments in the studio where we both just looked at each other like, ‘Wow, this is something really special.’”

Fans will soon witness the collaboration live as Jessica headlines a major concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on May 16, 2026. Morissette joins the show as a special guest performer, alongside Darren Espanto, James Reid, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Vice Ganda, and Regine Velasquez.
