MANILA – Jam Ignacio has publicly apologized to his fiancée, Jellie Aw, over an alleged physical abuse incident, assuring her that it will not happen again while appealing for a chance to repair their relationship.

Breaking his silence in an interview with one media source on Wednesday, Feb. 19, Ignacio expressed regret over the incident, particularly to Aw’s family, including her mother.

Addressing the cause of the dispute, he cited a misunderstanding and exhaustion from a long day.

“I’m only human—I might have just reached my breaking point,” he admitted. “That doesn’t make it right, and I’m not justifying it. But I will never tolerate doing it again. I sincerely apologize.”

APPEALS FOR RECONCILIATION
Speaking directly to Aw, whom he affectionately called “Hon,” Ignacio emphasized his love and commitment to her.

“I’m truly sorry for what happened. I promise you this will never happen again,” he pleaded. “I hope you’ll give us the chance to fix this privately, just between the two of us.”

He further reiterated his desire to build a future together, reminding Aw of their plans to start a family.

“We’ve always dreamed of having a family together. Let’s make it happen, Hon. I’m begging you—let’s fix this,” he said. “I’m deeply sorry. I promise this won’t happen again.”

FORMAL COMPLAINT FILED
As of this writing, Jellie Aw has not responded to Ignacio’s public statement.

Earlier, she filed a formal complaint against Ignacio with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), prompting the agency to issue a subpoena. It remains unclear whether Ignacio has formally responded to the NBI’s summons.
