Before submitting his candidacy, the former mayor’s group marched from Arroceros Forest Park to Kartilya ng Katipunan.

Isko previously mentioned that he would file today, allowing his party colleagues to file their COCs first.

He currently serves as the president of Aksyon Demokratiko, founded by the late Sen. Raul S. Roco.

Last week, incumbent Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna also filed her candidacy.

When asked for a message for her former colleague, Mayor Isko, Lacuna said, “Don’t come back.”

The clip of Lacuna’s message quickly became a trending video nationwide.

Moreno responded simply with, “Peace be with you.”

Isko’s family, especially his son and young actor Joaquin, showed full support for his candidacy.
