International Airborne Leaders Forge Stronger Indo-Pacific Partnerships

Airborne commanders from Indo-Pacific nations convened at the International Airborne Commanders Conference (IACC) held on January 10, 2025, at the 1st Airborne Brigade, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), Camp Narashino, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

The Philippine Army delegation, led by Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Leodevic Guinid and Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) Commander Brig. Gen. Rosendo Abad Jr., joined military leaders from allied nations to discuss strategies for addressing emerging regional threats.

This forum facilitated the exchange of information on key topics such as human resource development, leader-subordinate relations, empowerment of Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), and advanced training initiatives for NCOs across the allied nations.

The conferences formed a core part of the New Year Jump in Indo-Pacific 2025, setting the stage for further collaboration.
