The Senator Imee Marcos admits estrangement from her brother, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., revealing that they have not spoken in a long time.
According to Senator Marcos, they only get the chance to talk during public gatherings.
She also disclosed that certain individuals close to the President allegedly prevent them from communicating.
However, she clarified that she harbors no ill feelings toward President Marcos despite not being mentioned in his speech during an Alyansa rally in Cavite.
Senator Marcos said she is unbothered by the matter as she is focused on investigating how former President Rodrigo Duterte can be brought back to the Philippines from The Hague in the Netherlands.
She stressed that defending the country’s sovereignty should be prioritized over politics and campaigning.
