High-Value Target Nabbed in Naguilian for Disturbance, Shabu Possession

Naguilian high‑value target arrest was confirmed after police apprehended a man listed under the PNP/PDEA Target List for causing public disturbance and possessing suspected shabu in Barangay Quezon, Naguilian, Isabela around 7 p.m. on January 18, 2026.

The suspect, identified only by the alias “Ed” (“Ed”), is a 30‑year‑old unemployed resident of the barangay who was arrested for violating Article 151 of the Revised Penal Code on Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority, and Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165.

According to the report, combined forces of PIU/PDEU‑IPPO, RIU2 CIT Santiago, and intelligence operatives of the Naguilian Police Station were conducting intelligence monitoring and information gathering when they spotted the suspect holding a bottle of liquor and intimidating passersby.

Officers attempted to calm him down, but the suspect became aggressive and continued defying authorities, prompting his arrest.

During the body search, police recovered two plastic sachets of suspected shabu, a bottle of liquor, and a one‑peso coin from the suspect.

After the operation, authorities immediately conducted the marking and inventory of the seized items in the presence of the suspect, a representative from the National Prosecution Service (NPS), and a barangay kagawad of Barangay Quezon.

The suspect and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Naguilian Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
