The risks of penile implants have been highlighted by health experts, warning that the procedure can lead to serious health complications.

According to an article published in the Serbian Journal of Dermatology and Venereology, penile implants, also known as artificial penile nodules, involve inserting small beads made of plastic, metal, wood, specialized stone, or glass beneath the penile skin to increase girth.

However, no licensed medical professionals perform this procedure.

Experts say that most men who undergo the procedure are those who feel insecure about the size of their genitalia.

Some men reportedly get penile implants due to peer pressure, believing it strengthens their bond with friends who also have the procedure.

Studies show that many wives are unaware of their husbands’ decision to undergo the procedure and do not understand the reason behind it.

This has led some wives to suspect that the implants are not intended for their pleasure, but rather for extramarital affairs.

A few have even associated penile implants with infidelity or having a mistress.

Experts explained that men who undergo the procedure risk developing infections or even fatal tetanus, which could also cause discomfort for their partners during intercourse.

Health professionals strongly advise the removal of penile implants, as they may lead to infertility or even cancer.
