US Vice President Kamala Harris has expressed no concern regarding her first face-to-face debate with former US President Donald Trump in the lead-up to the US Election.

In preparation, Harris has consulted with US President Joe Biden and former First Lady Hillary Clinton, who had previously faced Trump in past elections.

A number of Democratic governors, including Pennsylvania’s Josh Shapiro, North Carolina’s Roy Cooper, New Mexico’s Michelle Lujan Grisham, and California’s Gavin Newsom, are expected to observe the debate from Harris’ camp.

US President Joe Biden is set to have a busy schedule on the day of the debate.

The president will welcome the NCAA basketball championship teams from the University of South Carolina and the University of Connecticut men’s team at the White House.

In the afternoon, he will travel to New York to commemorate the anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks.

According to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, President Biden may watch the debate from a hotel in Manhattan.

After the debate, Harris is expected to join Biden in visiting key locations affected by the September 11 attacks, including New York, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon.

The first debate between Harris and Trump will take place at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

Trump, a veteran of presidential debates, is reportedly not preparing extensively, focusing on issues such as US support for the Gaza war and the economy, which he is likely to raise during the debate.
