Dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo acknowledged her readiness to identify key individuals involved in the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) and government officials who have aided the proliferation of these operations in the Philippines.

Guo made this statement during the executive session of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality on September 24, 2024.

She favored a closed-door session with the Senate panel, led by Majority Leader Francis Tolentino, after asserting that she is not the “mastermind” behind the illegal POGO operations in Bamban, Tarlac.

Describing herself as merely a victim, Guo denied any guilt or involvement in illegal POGO activities, asserting that she believes the committee—especially its chairperson—is aware of this.

The closed-door session lasted only a few minutes, due to scheduling within the Senate.

Despite this, Senator Ejercito mentioned that significant progress was made during the session, and Guo committed to presenting all relevant information in the next session scheduled for next week.
