Graduating Student Found Dead Inside Dagupan Home; Family Cries for Justice

A 23-year-old graduating student was found lifeless inside a house in Barangay Pugaro, Dagupan City, Pangasinan, triggering calls for justice from her grieving family.

The victim, identified as Jezel Gonzales, was discovered by her mother, Maria Gonzales, around 6 PM Tuesday evening inside the room where Jezel had been sleeping.

She was found lying face down, covered in a blanket, with visible swelling on her face, suggesting the crime occurred during the night while nearby homes were silent and unaware.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Jezel sustained wounds to her neck and side, indicating possible foul play.

The Gonzales family is demanding swift justice for the tragic death of their daughter, who was expected to graduate next month.

Authorities have announced a ₱40,000 reward for anyone who can provide information leading to the identification of the perpetrator.

Family members also reported that Jezel’s commonly used black bag was found empty, raising suspicions that robbery may have been involved.

Barangay officials are actively coordinating with investigators to expedite the case resolution.

The family is appealing to anyone with knowledge about the incident to come forward and report to local authorities or police.
