Father Dies, Daughter Injured in Motorcycle-Bus Collision in Isabela

A tragic accident in Malasin, San Mateo, Isabela claimed the life of a 55-year-old man, while his 23-year-old daughter sustained injuries after their motorcycle crashed into a passenger bus.

The victims were identified as Ronnie Feliciano and his daughter, Ronielyn Feliciano, both residents of Salinungan West, San Mateo, Isabela.

The bus driver, identified as 48-year-old Salvador Guireula, resides in Centro 10, Tuguegarao City.

Initial police investigations revealed that Ronnie had just picked up his daughter from Santiago City and was on his way home when the crash occurred.

Reports indicate that the motorcycle veered into the bus’s lane, leading to the fatal collision.

Ronnie succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while Ronielyn is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo Cauayan, bus conductor Aeron Narag stated that the driver had attempted to brake but was unable to avoid the motorcycle.

Narag added that the bus could not swerve out of the way without endangering other vehicles on the road.
