Father Arrested for Repeatedly Raping His Own Daughter

Authorities have arrested a man listed as the most wanted at the regional level, facing charges of 8 counts of rape and 2 counts of sexual assault in Alcapan, Cagayan.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo Cauayan, PMaj. Fernando Mallillin, chief of the Ramon Police Station, confirmed that the victim is the suspect’s own daughter, whom he repeatedly raped.

Based on the investigation, the mother of the victim worked in another town, giving the suspect the opportunity to abuse his daughter whenever they were left alone at home.

The incidents frequently occurred when the suspect was under the influence of alcohol.

It was revealed that the victim was subjected to abuse from a young age until she reached adolescence.

The abuse was reported by members of a local church who sought help from their pastor after learning of the situation.

Sadly, some of the victim’s relatives failed to report the crime due to shame, according to the authorities.
