Father and Son Found Dead in Abra

Authorities from the Licuan Baay Police Station in Abra are continuing their investigation into the disappearance and subsequent death of two individuals.

The victims were identified as Alex Borreta and his 17-year-old son, Richard, both residents of Barangay Agtangao, Bangued.

According to PLT Jerry Granel in an interview with Bombo Radyo Vigan, the victims left their home at 7 PM, and by 3 AM, they had not returned, prompting their family to contact them, but they were unreachable.

Granel added that the victims had no criminal record, and the search for evidence continues to resolve the case.

The victims were found by a local councilor in a nearby area, both suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and signs of strangulation.

Authorities recovered two empty shells and bullets from a caliber .46 gun, along with two empty shells from a 5.56 caliber Armalite rifle.
