Fatal Crash: Two Motorists Dead, Two Others Injured

Two motorcyclists were pronounced dead on arrival after a morning collision involving two motorcycles and a bus in Purok 2, San Francisco, Malilipot, Albay.

According to PCpt. Alex Alcantara, Chief of the Malilipot Municipal Police Station, the bus was traveling from Legazpi City toward Tabaco City when an unnamed pedestrian suddenly crossed the road at the scene of the accident.

Alcantara stated that the bus driver tried to swerve to avoid the pedestrian but failed to notice two oncoming motorcycles, one of which was carrying a passenger.

The impact caused one motorcycle and its driver to be dragged under the bus.

It was reported that two of the victims were students.

The two injured victims are currently receiving medical attention at a nearby hospital, with injuries sustained on various parts of their bodies.

Meanwhile, police are conducting a thorough investigation, and the bus driver is now in the custody of Malilipot MPS.
