The final day of the Bar Examinations at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) was met with celebration as families and friends gathered to support the examinees.

Schools across Metro Manila, along with the families and friends of Bar takers, held their annual ‘salubong’ to show encouragement for the last day of the exams.

Several examinees expressed relief after completing the test, while others were overjoyed to have endured one of the toughest licensure exams in the Philippines.

Some of the takers were accompanied by their parents, many of whom traveled from far provinces such as Cotabato, Ilocos Sur, and nearby regions.

Several parents became emotional over their children’s achievements. Even though the results have yet to be released, many parents said they already knew their children had given their all to finish the exam.

It was also noted that some of the examinees were second-time takers, praying and hoping that this would finally be their last attempt, allowing them to officially become licensed attorneys.

Meanwhile, the final day marked the end of the three-day Bar exams, held from September 8 to September 11, for aspiring lawyers.

The Supreme Court is expected to release the results of the exams before the year ends.
