The DSWD is ready to provide various types of assistance, including food packs, hygiene kits, family packs, and other essentials based on the needs of affected communities.

Gopalan emphasized that the agency’s response is swift, thanks to its 19 warehouses distributed across different local government units (LGUs) in the region, enabling faster distribution of aid.

She also mentioned that LGUs are well-equipped to handle emergency situations.

Furthermore, Gopalan called on barangay officials to accurately record the names of affected individuals in their areas, as this data is essential for distributing aid efficiently.
