DSWD Distributes Aid to Over 300 Families in Lobo, Batangas

Lobo, Batangas – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) distributed financial aid to more than 300 underprivileged families in Lobo, Batangas, on Saturday, September 28.

Through the office of Senator Lito Lapid, the DSWD provided assistance to 317 beneficiaries, including women, jeepney drivers, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).

Senator Lapid expressed hope that the aid, distributed under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program, would help alleviate the recipients’ financial burdens.

Following the payout, Lapid led the inauguration and blessing of Lobo’s new municipal building, which was funded by the senator.

Lobo Mayor Lota Manalo conveyed the community’s gratitude for the timely support received, emphasizing its significance in addressing the immediate needs of the beneficiaries.
