A delivery truck loaded with dishwashing soap fell into a collapsed section of road in Christine Village, Barangay District 1, Cauayan City.

The truck, originating from Santiago City, was transporting between three to four tons of dishwashing liquid, straws, plastic cups, and other items destined for the City of Ilagan and Cauayan City.

According to the business owner, the truck was reportedly out of use due to brake issues, so the news of its crash came as a surprise.

The driver stated that while two crew members had exited to secure the wheels, the vehicle lost control and slipped backward due to brake failure, eventually falling into the ravine.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.

Workers and local residents collaborated to transfer the cargo and retrieve the truck.
