The mountain offers breathtaking views, including the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, which inspired Aurora’s castle in the Disney animated film Sleeping Beauty.

According to reports, Natalie was posing for a selfie at the mountain’s peak when she slipped and fell from a rock ledge that was about 80 meters (approximately 262 feet) high.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, Natalie suffered severe brain damage.

A friend who was with her recounted that Natalie had been standing at the edge of a rock to take the photo when one of her feet slipped. The friend was unsure if Natalie had lost her footing or if the rock she was standing on gave way.
