Crising Leaves 53 Areas Flooded Across 8 Regions — OCD

The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) has recorded 53 flooded areas across eight regions in the Philippines following the onslaught of Tropical Storm Crising.

OCD Officer-in-Charge Rafaelito Alejandro IV confirmed that the affected regions include the Ilocos Region, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Soccsksargen, and Caraga.

As of Saturday morning, 26 locations remain submerged, impacting 57 road sections and six bridges, which are currently impassable.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Antique has identified two missing residents swept away by floodwaters in Sitio Banglid, Barangay Bacalan.
