Construction Worker Shot Dead in Polomolok, South Cotabato

A 19-year-old construction worker, Dexter Ramos, was shot dead on the spot in another shooting incident in Purok Daisy, Barangay Poblacion, Polomolok, South Cotabato.

According to Polomolok MPS Chief Lt. Col. Peter Pinalgan, the victim was approached by suspects on a motorcycle while sitting near the road in front of his boarding house.

Without warning, the assailants shot him in the head, resulting in his immediate death.

Police recovered a .45 caliber bullet casing at the crime scene.

One person of interest in the case is the ex-husband of Ramos’ current live-in partner, with authorities investigating a possible crime of passion as the motive.

This marks the second shooting incident in Polomolok this September.
