Pinayagan nang muli ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) ang mga commercial fishers na makapangisda ng isdang sardinas sa mga karagatang sakop ng Zamboanga Peninsula.

Ito ay sa deklarasyon ng BFAR ang pagtatapos ngt closed fishing season partikular sa mga bahagi ng East Sulu, Basilan Straight at Sibuguey Bay.

Ito ay matapos maganunsyo ng tatlong buwan na ban sa panghuhuli ng sardinas sa mga bahaging ito na siyang nagsimula noong Nobyeermbre ng nakaraang taon.

Ang pagaanunsyo ng ban noong nakaraang taon ay para mabigyan ng panahon ang pangingitlog at pagpaparami ng mga isda sa loob ng 6,000-square-nautical-miles conservation zone.

Samantala, pinayagan na ring muli ang mga commercial fishers na mangisda ng mga sardinas, herrings, at mackerels sa mga conservation area sa katubigan ng Visayas Sea.
