Regions covered by the suspension are the National Capital Region (NCR), Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Region I (Ilocos Region), Region II (Cagayan Valley), Region III (Central Luzon), Region IV-A (Calabarzon), Region IV-B (MIMAROPA), Region V (Bicol Region), Region VI (Western Visayas), Region VII (Central Visayas), Negros Island Region (NIR), and Region VIII (Eastern Visayas).
Malacañang emphasized that the suspension applies to both public and private schools, while local government units retain authority to declare additional suspensions depending on local conditions.
