Class Suspensions Widen as Typhoon Julian Hits More Areas

The number of areas with class suspensions has increased today due to the effects of Typhoon Julian. Local governments in regions near the center of the storm have announced the cancellation of classes across all levels.

Here are the areas with class suspensions for all levels:

Region 1:

  • Laoag City, Ilocos Norte
  • Ilocos Sur
  • La Union
  • Pangasinan: Bayambang, Mapandan, Rosales, Urdaneta, Malasiqui, San Fabian, Mangaldan, Bautista

Region 2:

  • Batanes (until October 1)
  • Cagayan Province: Aparri, Calayan, Tuao, Amulung, Baggao, Gattaran, Iguig, Lal-lo, Santa Praxedes
  • Kinder to Grade 12 Only: Allacapan, Enrile, Pamplona, Peñablanca, Sanchez Mira, Sto. Niño, Tuguegarao City

Region 3:

  • Aurora Province

Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR):

Authorities warn that more areas may declare class suspensions as Typhoon Julian continues to affect Northern Luzon. Residents are advised to stay updated on local advisories and take necessary precautions.
