Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Archbishop Charles Brown, also encouraged Filipinos to pray for the Holy Father’s swift healing.

The archbishop further prayed for the doctors and nurses who are tirelessly caring for the Pope.

According to a statement released by the Vatican, Pope Francis remains in stable condition while confined at Gemelli Hospital in Rome.
