Brother Fatally Stabbed for Waking Up Sibling

A man was killed after being stabbed and slammed against a wall by his own brother in Barangay Bari, Mangaldan, Pangasinan.

According to police reports, the suspect, identified as Rafael Caoile, became enraged when his brother, 44-year-old Monny Caoile, woke him up to inform him that his child was rushed to the hospital due to breathing difficulties.

After Monny returned to his room, their mother, Flora, witnessed Rafael enter and violently attack his brother with a knife.

Despite sustaining stab wounds, Monny managed to run outside the house for help but was followed by Rafael, who then forcefully struck his head against a wall.

Monny succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities noted that Monny had consumed alcohol prior to the incident.

Mangaldan Police Station Chief Captain Vicente Abrazaldo confirmed that homicide charges have been filed against Rafael.
