Recognized as the biggest single-day bloodletting event in the Philippines, Dugong Bombo is a joint effort in cooperation with Bombo Radyo Philippines Foundation, Inc., and the Philippine Red Cross.

“Dugong Bombo: A Little Pain, A Life to Gain” is more than a campaign; it is a rallying cry for every Filipino to become a hero. In previous years’ successful drive, Bombo Radyo Philippines helped replenish the nation’s blood supply by collecting over 2.1 million cc of blood, equivalent to 2,081 liters, 550 gallons, or 10 drums of life-saving blood.

Despite advancements in Science, nothing has been discovered to replace human blood, and the demand continues to rise. Through this campaign, Bombo Radyo harnesses its national reach and local presence to promote civic responsibility and compassion.

For this year, Bombo Radyo once again calls upon its partners, stakeholders, and local communities to volunteer and make a meaningful difference.
