Bombo Radyo and Star FM recognized at Philippines Distinct Men & Women of Excellence 2024

LAS PIÑAS CITY – Bombo Radyo Philippines and 102.7 Star FM Manila were recently recognized at the Philippines Distinct Men & Women of Excellence 2024 held at a hotel in Las Piñas.

Bombo Radyo was named the Distinct AM Radio Station of the Year while its flagship FM station Star FM Manila was hailed as the Distinct FM Radio Station of the Year.

Among the attendees and winners were actress Sheryl Cruz, Marc Logan, Atty. Persida Acosta, Marilao Vice Mayor Jun Bob Dela Cruz, Monsour del Rosario, beauty queens Faye Tangonan and Monaliza Salenga Hernandez, fashion designer Nash Leeho, and Mister Teenager Universe 2024 Lloyd Figueras. Angelica and Mark Andrew Yulo also received the award for their Olympic gold medalist son Carlos, as well as awards of their own.

According to award-winning director Romm Burlat, Philippines Distinct’s Chairman, they will continue to recognize and give appreciation to Filipinos all over the world. When asked about Bombo Radyo and Star FM’s win this year, he shares, “It was a tight competition, [but] you excel.”

The Philippines Distinct Men & Women of Excellence is an award-giving body that honors distinct Filipino achievers and their unique achievements.
