According to P/Lt. Joan Salvatiera, the body was located amidst the efforts to find Judalena, who was reported missing on the night of September 30, coinciding with the onset of Typhoon Julian in the province.

Salvatiera confirmed that the body would be cremated immediately, as it was deemed unsuitable for embalming due to its prolonged exposure to water.

A declaration from the attending physician indicated that Judalena’s cause of death was drowning.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and subsequent death, as the community mourns the loss of Judalena.
