Body of 22-Year-Old Man Found Floating in Currimao River

The lifeless body of a 22-year-old man was discovered floating in the river of Barangay Gaang, Currimao.

The victim, identified as Aries Salaan, a construction worker and resident of the same barangay, was found approximately 10 meters away from the residence of Luzvimida Gonzales while she was doing laundry near the river.

The incident was reported to the Currimao Philippine National Police, who responded and confirmed that the victim was last seen on the night of September 16.

His father mentioned that Salaan was intoxicated at the time.

It is believed that the victim had unresolved personal issues with his parents, and excessive alcohol consumption may have contributed to his emotional distress.

The Currimao Municipal Health Office declared the victim’s death due to drowning, and authorities found no evidence of foul play.
