Body Found in Barangay Alegre, Bansalan, Davao del Sur

Davao Region – A lifeless body was discovered in Purok 8, Sitio Gagpang, Barangay Alegre, Bansalan, Davao del Sur, at around 6:20 PM yesterday.

Based on the police investigation, the victim was identified as Albert Lumen, a resident of Emely Homes Subdivision, Digos City.

The body was found buried near the house of a certain “Ruben,” where the incident allegedly occurred.

Responding authorities, along with a Barangay Councilor and several residents, were the ones who uncovered the body in the area.

According to a witness, gunshots were heard around 4:00 PM on September 25, 2024, near the location where the victim was last seen working.

The police immediately conducted a search and recovered three bullet casings from a .45-caliber pistol at the crime scene.

Currently, the police have taken the evidence into custody for further investigation, and authorities are still searching for the perpetrator behind this heinous crime.

The victim’s body is now at Brilliantes Funeral Home.
