Bishop Files for Davao City Mayor, Pledges Free Healthcare and Education

Davao City – Bishop Rod Cubos has officially filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for Mayor of Davao City, alongside his running mate for Vice Mayor.

Cubos submitted his candidacy at around 9:00 AM, becoming the first candidate to file for the mayoral position.

The founder of Christ the Healer International Missions Movement stated his vision to transform the city with a deep desire for God’s guidance for Davaoeños.

His campaign slogan, “BagOngDabawNapud,” aims to bring change to Davao City.

During his COC filing, he presented five key programs, including free hospitalization for all Davaoeños, as well as free education, employment, business opportunities, peace, and an end to hunger.

Joining him in the race are Rhodora Soriano Barcena for Vice Mayor, Janeth Jabines for 1st District Congresswoman, and Melogen Montesclaros for 2nd District Congresswoman.

Other candidates for the 1st District include Antonette Sabes, Kariz Ayah Cubos-Martirez, and Jasille Dulla.

For the 2nd District, the lineup includes Engr. Felochie Gencianos and Mary Crystel Abrenica.

The 3rd District candidates are Rowena Soriano Donato, Michael Jhon Cabalhin, Ricky Castillote, Leonora Digna Naraval, Junrich Sumile Malolot, Efren Desierto, and Exequiel Placio.
